🌐 Distance Healing & Shipped ProductsFlower Essence Therapy & Reiki in DeLand
Prismatic sends distance Reiki and custom flower essence blends to DeLand, offering students and neighbors alike a gentle way to ease everyday stress and settle into steadier emotional footing in this walkable, spirited college town.
DeLand anchors Volusia County with Stetson University's live-oak campus and a lively historic downtown, and just south lies Cassadaga, the century-old Spiritualist community. That long openness to metaphysical and mindful practice makes gentle energy work feel right at home here.
Every winter, manatees crowd into the warm spring run at Blue Spring, a few miles south, and locals plan quiet months around it. Sessions run at a distance, so the time is set by your own schedule rather than by anyone's opening hours. Whatever arrives for an attunement is a file rather than a parcel, and it stays with you for good.
At two o'clock on the afternoon of December 6, 1876, Persimmon Hollow was renamed DeLand after Henry Addison DeLand, a baking soda manufacturer from Fairport, New York, who meant to build a center for citrus, farming and visitors here. The city incorporated in 1882 and became the seat of Volusia County in 1887, and it was the first city in Florida to have electricity. DeLand founded an academy in 1883, and after the freeze of 1885 wrecked the citrus crop and his finances he handed it to John B. Stetson, a hat manufacturer; it was renamed for Stetson in 1889.
