✨ Holistic Healing in Tigard, OR
🌐 Distance Healing & Shipped ProductsTigard residents can receive distance Reiki and personally blended flower essences and aura sprays mailed from our Metro Detroit studio, bringing gentle, grounding support home whenever the pace of the week feels heavy, with no travel needed.
Set just south of Portland in Washington County, Tigard pairs a walkable downtown and community plaza with more than 16 miles of paved trails and the calm waters of the Tualatin River at Cook Park, a place that already leans toward outdoor, mindful living.
Highway 217 and the crush around Washington Square shape the day for anyone commuting from here, and the backups rarely respect a calendar. A distance session asks only a quiet room and whatever unhurried time you can give it. Aura sprays come by mail from the Michigan studio, small enough to keep at a desk or bedside.
Wilson McClendon Tigard settled here in 1852 to farm, bought a three-hundred-and-twenty-acre claim and helped build the community's first elementary school; the area was called East Butte then. In the 1880s his son Charles opened a store called Tigardville on his parents' claim along Taylor's Ferry Road and got a post office in it in December 1887, and the store's name gradually replaced East Butte. When the Oregon Electric Railway came through in 1907 the line shortened the North Tigardville station to Tigard so it would not be confused with its Wilsonville stop, and the shorter name is the one that stayed.
